I am fi lling in for our Secretary Rick Johnson as he
is recovering from a heart attack and a triple bypass.
This happened on November 9 and he had his
surgery on the 11th. He just texted me to say he has
been discharged from the Hospital today. He will be
at home for a period of time but sounded good and
said he felt much better.
Our Worshipful Master Les Aschnewitz has stepped
down because of medical issues. He has had rotator
cuff surgery and it may lay him up for 3 to 6 months.
He had discussed this with our Grand Master and it
was decided that our Senior Warden Erick Steichen
will take over as Master for the reminder of this year
and Craig Fontaine moves to Senior Warden and
Brian Brockhouse becomes Junior Warden. I am
acting Secretary until Rick is back.
Our Grand Master Christensen and 3 of his offi cers
visited Mt. Tabor Lodge twice, once on Oct. 14 a d
again on Nov. 11. We had made some errors on our
Degree planning and what we should do to correct
this problem. He was also pleased with our web-site
calling it one of the best in MN. Masonry. He also
liked out charity fund raising activates.
WE will be starting with our pictures with Santa at
the Mall. We will be in the old Sprint location and as
usual we will need our Brothers to help to make this
Our schedule is as follows.

This is after the Christmas parade.
Dec. 6 & 7 from noon to 4 PM. And on the 6th again
from 5 to 7 PM during the mall special open house.
Dec. 13, 14, 20, & 21 we will be open from
noon to 4 PM.
Please check the website or call Erick or myself to get
on the list of workers.
